BILT LP
The Bilt LP is an innovative water softener designed for glass carafes with a small opening, such as that of the La Piccola Piccola. Using the osmotic principle of saline solutions, it removes calcium and magnesium ions from the water, as well as ions of certain heavy metals (Cr3+, Al3+, Cu2+, Pb2+, Fe2+, Zn2+, Ni2+, Cd2+) that cause fouling inside the machine. Its special composition keeps the water drinkable for several days. The silver-coated resin ensures the bacteriostatic quality of the water it is immersed in and, with long-lasting effect, full compliance with all food standards. This means you can leave the water in the tank for several days without bacteria multiplying.
